Our Current Projects

Having strong fully qualified teachers, professional actors & Choreographers working on our team we are always looking to expand in ways to benefit the educational groups we work with. SouthernStage works are currently developing a number of in house educational projects to be delivered within Secondary and Primary establishments, working in the South East regions. Our ‘2007’ season began well and saw SSW working in close partnership with a number of Secondary Schools. We will begin in our '2008' season later this year in July and run till the end of December 2008. Availability within our ‘Super Schools DJ scheme' is limited so please contact for booking arrangements via the website e-mail.

The beginning of 2007 saw brand new ventures for SouthernStage works, our first ever fully produced secondary school Musical. Filsham Valley School – St Leonards on Sea, was host to a storming production of ‘Disney’s’ HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL. SouthernStage works worked closely with the creative team to produce the show for them. Look out for this seasons colaboration 'Little Shop Of Horrors'. Our ‘Hit The Road’ productions, for 2008 will be commencing later in the year, the topic of which is 'Shakespeares A Mid Summer Nights Dream', this year. This purpose built T.I.E (Theater in Education) show will be offering performances complete with workshops and Q&A sessions, full dates to be posted on the website late July 2008.

We are revising our packages every year so please continue to look for regular updates. A big thank you to all involved in setting up and carrying out our 2007 season, especially our DJ workshops, which are now in full swing in a number of schools throughout the South East. Don’t forget to take a look at the new costume hire section, which is now expanding every month and includes our HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL costumes that are now for hire, if your school is thinking of performing the show get in touch.
